are the feedbacks for the globe broadband wireless or wired? kasi kami dito sa davao, may balak mag palit ng provider (currently using bayantel net private -- business plan --- 384kbps static IP 1999 monthly). kaso its not stable, nawawala bigla and then takes up to about 1minute for it to come back. dati stable siya pero now hindi na. thinking about getting globe broadband plan 1999 (3mbps) + 715 for static IP. though trying to negotiate para yung business plan nalang ang mabigay (2495 -- up to 1.6mbps but with CIR of 64kbps and static IP)

aw so you are talking about wireless.. dito kasi sa amin may option ang globe broadband na wired. kaya nga limited lang dito sa amin ang coverage ng globe as of now. Eto yung binabalak namin na package. Kaso lang dynamic IP pa yan have to add 715 monthly for static IP

Download speed up to - 3mbps
free wifi minutes (via worldpass) - 120 min (not available ata to sa davao)

*Free Worldpass minutes will expire when unused within the month. Unused minutes will not be transferred to the following month

---------------

as for the wireless thing, its normal na may time na mabagal yan. its because of interference sa wireless signal (like pag may ulan, malakas ang hangin, etc). although, theoretically hindi dapat ganun yan. my friend who setup their own ISP in iligan told me that the tower used for transmitting wireless signals is powerful enough na kahit daw bagyo stable parin ang signal niyan. Im guessing its the canopy they provide, low end kasi (probably to save cost especially since yung ibang tao ninanakaw yun).

not necessarily... you still need to find the right fequency to be able to get the signal (which is what the canopy is for)

Of course you have to go to a place where the strong frequency is there.
