Sality Virus removal instruction: Download the following three files ( rmsality.exe, rmsality.nt, rmsality.dos) and run the rmsality.exe file. it is necessary to save the rmsality.nt and rmsality.dos into the same folder as rmsality.exe. Put them in the same folder.

You can also specify the disks (or partitions) to heal as a command parameters, e.g.: "rmsality C: D:". If the command is used without parameters, it heals all disks (partitions) on computer.

If you're having problems booting up windows because your computer is heavily infected and your anti virus & antimalware are disabled by malwares, or you find it difficult to install an anti virus or even use it due to the restrictions imposed by the malwares, use this LIVE CDs to rescue your system:

Avira AntiVir Rescue System - Avira AntiVir Rescue System is a Linux-based application that allows accessing computers that cannot be booted anymore. Thus it is possible to:
* repair a damaged system,
* rescue data,
* scan the system for virus infections.
Just double-click on the rescue system package to burn it to a CD/DVD. You can then use this CD/DVD to boot your computer.The Avira AntiVir Rescue System is updated several times a day so that the most recent security updates are always available.

F-Secure Rescue CD - Rescue CD scans the computer and renames all files containing malware to .virus file extension.
* Rescue CD will by default scan:
all hard drives in the computer
all USB drives attached to the computer
Windows FAT and NTFS drives
* Virus definition databases are updated automatically if the computer has an internet connection
* Virus definition databases can be updated manually by using a USB drive

Dr.Web LiveCD - is an anti-virus emergency aid disk that would restore a system that became non-operational due to activities of malware and help copy important information to a removable data-storage device or to another computer. If a workstation or a server running Windows\Unix won’t boot from a hard drive, Dr.Web LiveCD will clean a system of suspicious and malicious files and will also try to cure infected objects

Burn these Live CDs and boot from them. Visit thier official site for complete instructions on how to carry this out. Also google is your best friend.
