I think i mistakenly clicked on firefox's " yes always go here, i'm sure of what i'm doing, dont bother me again just take me there" button so i get this russian webpage

Code:
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=blogger&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blogger.com%2Fstart&passive=true&go=true&alinsu=1&aplinsu=1&alwf=true&skipvpage=true&rm=false&showra=1&fpui=2&naui=8

but for I.E., i still have that warning page

this only affects my laptop, not my desktop. It looks like spyware but it still persists after an antivirus and antispyware scan.

any ideas guys??

have you tried restoring the default settings of the browser? In firefox, you need to run FF into safemode, and choose "reset all user preferences blah blah" then try to browse again. Delete the cookies also.

Hello pcruztemp, good evening. :)

I think resetting the settings of both browser will work. For IE, click here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931850).

What does "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" mean, and what should I do? --> Click HERE (http://ask-leo.com/what_does_there_is_a_problem_with_this_websites_security_certificate_mean_and_what_should_i_do.html)

Take care and God bless. :)

finally got rid of a pesky virus on my HD and flash drive

but the problem still persists

using IE, same problem. FF Private browsing - same problem

clearing the FF cache does nothing

gmail is also affected, there's a popup and a redirect to a similar site. So its specific to my laptop and google based sites siguro. gmail and blogger.com are under google

Tried cleaning the temp files of windows, IE and FF, no luck

scanned my laptop, still clean after the virus was removed

well thats for IE only. I rarely use IE, firefox is my main browser so i dont see how an IE only fix will help me
