good day masters,
I have a problem here sir, I hope somebody can help.  :'(My friend wants me to install an OS (winxp sp2) to his usb portable hard drive. The problem is that I cannot install it because there's an error. When I tried to install Linux Ubuntu to his portable hdd all seems well. But seems like windows doesn't allow it to boot windows from a portable usb drive.

I know many of you here has an extraordinary ability. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.. Kiss

Another option would be using a (single) software called WinToFlash:

How To's

Download WinToFlash

Hello nimz0351, good evening. Smiley

Ok, installing through the flash drive or CD doesn't matter. Now, I'll ask you again the question. What's the error said? You said there's an error when you install it. What is it?

Take care and God bless. Smiley
