GIGABYTE launched the new 690 Series of motherboards, including the GA-MA69G-S3H and GA-MA69GM-S2H. They feature AMD 690G chipset with ATI Radeon X1250 graphics core, and support AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processors, a variety of display outputs including RGB, YPbPr and S-video as well as fully integrated DVI/HDMI and HDCP. They also enable support for up to six independent monitors.

Utilizing the latest Realtek ALC889A, the GIGABYTE 690 Series enable Audio which supports both Blu-ray and HD DVD formats. The series come with overclocking tools to optimize system performance, user-friendly BIOS management utilities and enhanced BIOS protection features.
