Yun nga bro marami palang klaseng panel yan. bago ako bumili nagbasa muna ako ng reviews about 226BW. pero sa pagbili ko wala akong makitang palatandaan kung anong panel sya kahit dun sa hidden menu. Made in Malaysia sya bro. so far maganda naman sya satisfied ako sa kulay.

baka naman may alam kang pwede ko ipa swap tong 17 inches lcd ko, samsung... 1 year pa lang to. gusto ko sana kasi baguhin kulay ng buong unit ko. gusto ko yung nakita ko na Mac na white lcd monitor na malaki talaga. ayoko ng second hand ha  :)

Its due to speedstep technology keng. when the system is not on full load it will reduce the multiplier from 7.5 to 7 to save energy.

btw bro, based on your past experiences, is it cheaper in the long run to buy the highest capacity hard drives available for storage purposes, or just the mid range ones?...i once bought a 80gb seagate ide hdd in the year 2003 (and did not use it much) for about 4500php when it was still retail sold at above 5000php

May i ask if this laptop comes with a dvdrom?

If you're referring to the drive, it doesn't have one. It does come with DVDs of the recovery disk containing Windows (bleh!) and other drivers. Installation (if needed) can be done through a hidden partition on the hard drive.

Torrent rig and gaming na rin.. low power yan at 45W yung CPU AMD4050e, nag-upgrade ako ng 300W power supply, 200W lang yung default, MINIX din yung HD3450 at 512MB DDR3, unang labas nila, pero may-bug pa... siguro dahil sa built-in yung memory ng 780G's HD3200.

Actually, i didn't realize the overall impact of the colors ive used in assembly until you pointed that out.

(But looking it again, staring at the mesmerizing clear side panel, i think the colors complemented well with each other. first is the motherboard color which is blue which blended well with the blue light fans & blue straps. The red cpu fan color also found its similarity with the red NB fan, sata cords, straps, and red graphic card. the rest were black and stainless color.)

I have yet to formulate where i can put in the pair of 120mm 110CFM BB fans i got from you. I've treated them both to WD40 (on the bearings) and it took out some of the noise somehow.

I LOVE the copper heatpipes and the copper fins on the memory module .. somehow it pains that the XMS3 has its own heatsinking and its a big risk to take it out to mount those babies.

Actually Dual monitor is very important when editing videos using vegas pro 9 (or any video editor) and multi-tasking, making it very convenient to work with. You could set the 2nd monitor as viewer of your output while the 1st monitor as your console. the 2nd monitor could also display YM and web browser while gaming on your 1st monitor.

You should try it. It'll make computing experience very easy to work with. ( instead of always using Alt Tab)

I had the Dual Core 805 before, with an MSI 945PL DDR533 which was considered on the gamers level already... tapos pa-OC OC na lang muna, kasi inuna ko muna yung para sa mga kids... family first before the tatay  :-*

Nakabili na rin ng Gskill ripjaws (4gb), WD Raptor 74gb and Toshiba 500gb, isa na lang ang goal, makabili ng another 5770 for crossfire configuration... sana before the year ends..

may i suggest that you use the WD Black caviar HD for this rig. the green edition is intended more for a data storage than for OS booting. You'll be more at awe on the performance of your rig once you use the black caviar. (on that configuration its creating a bottleneck on your system).  ;)

I'll consider that pag may budget ulit. Was thinking of getting an WD Raptor dedicated for my OS ( Been in contact with someone selling it cheap  ;D ). Anyway, game loading times lang naman at file transferring ang benefit mostly ng mabilis na hdd. Got 4gb of ram so disk thrashing is most unlikely. Thanks for the suggie though, will definitely consider it.

74gb Western Digital Raptor is slower than the Caviar Black, just be aware.. Already done the benchies... better have the WD 320gb Veloci Raptor instead...
