Limewire itself is not illegal. It is just a software. But downloading songs, movies, softwares and etc on limewire that's already illegal.

Hehehehe! Nakakatuwa! Bibili ka ng isang software na Legal tapos malalaman mo sa huli kapag nag-download ka na illegal pala yung ginagawa mo. Grin

Most P2P software are free. Who says you have to pay for it?

Ang Limewire PRO po kasi may bayad! Mas mabilis daw ang download kapag naka Pro ka. Smiley

They have a free version. You're not forced to buy the PRO release.

So getting back with my previous question -- Who says you have to pay for it?

If you need a faster download get a faster internet connection, ditch Limewire and use another P2P client app that doesn't limit your P2P upload/download speed...

most P2p file sharing may pro version at may free version and may pagkakaiba rin sa features. sa downloading compare to pro version i think pareho naman walang pagkakaiba.

Internet music

Many online music stores employ DRM to restrict usage of music purchased and downloaded online. There are many options for consumers wishing to purchase digital music over the internet:

    * The iTunes Store, run by Apple Inc., allows users to purchase a track online for $0.99 US. The tracks purchased use Apple's FairPlay DRM system. Apple later launched iTunes Plus, which offered higher quality DRM-free tracks for a higher price. On October 17, 2007, iTunes Plus became available at the usual $0.99 price, replacing the non-Plus tracks.[13] On January 6, 2009 Apple announced at its Macworld Expo keynote that iTunes music would be available completely DRM free by the end of the month. Videos sold and rented through iTunes, as well as mobile software sold through the iTunes App Store for the iPhone and iPod touch, continue to use Apple's FairPlay DRM to inhibit casual copying.
